Cass Tech has set their goals high to becoming a green school. They have also set a goal to increase the educational awareness, not only those in the school building, but to the surrounding community. Cass Tech has a Cass Earth Club who is responsible for conducting a recycling project with the primary focus of paper as well as targeting other items such as batteries, cell phones, and plastic. Cass Tech would also like to implement a Green Engineering Curriculum. Their solar PV array has become an invaluable learning tool for these educational efforts.
